Which tracker is in this bundle?
The Tack GPS Plus Global, which roams in 120+ countries and adds Fall Detection Notification and Indoor Elevation Finder.
Do I need a separate SIM card or mobile plan?
No. The SIM is preinstalled and roaming data is included with a Tack Cloud subscription.
What happens after the 30 days of Tack Cloud?
You continue with a Tack Cloud subscription, from $5.42 SGD per month on a one-year Standard plan, or as low as $3.89 SGD per month on a three-year plan. The Standard plan updates location every 2 minutes in Emergency mode, 10 minutes in Active mode and 60 minutes in Standard mode, and keeps 14 days of location history. Premium updates more often and keeps 90 days, and you can switch from Standard to Premium.
Does the tracker make a sound or beep?
No. Neither Tack GPS nor Tack GPS Plus has a speaker or beeper, so the tracker cannot ring to help you find it. To find a misplaced tracker, open the OurSphere app to see where it last reported on the map, and check location history for where it has been.
Is it waterproof?
It is splash resistant, not waterproof. Light rain and splashes are fine, but do not submerge it, wear it in the shower or take it swimming.
Can it help with a family member who tends to wander?
It can help caregivers see where the person is, and send a safe-zone alert when they leave home or another place you set. Fall Detection Notification adds a prompt to check on them. It is not a medical device or a monitored emergency service, so use it alongside your usual care arrangements.
How do I attach the tracker to clothing?
Slide the tracker into the Wonder Pin Pouch and fasten it through the clothing with one of the pins. The Magnetic Key releases the pin when you want to take it off. The neck lanyard is the alternative, with a breakaway release that opens under pressure.
When do the 30 free days of Tack Cloud start?
When you activate the tracker in the OurSphere app, not on the day you buy it. A tracker bought as a gift or kept as a spare does not use up its free month while it is still in the box.
Is there an emergency button?
Yes. Press the power button once to send a One-Click Alert with the tracker's location to the OurSphere app. It needs mobile coverage to send, and it notifies your family in the app. It does not call emergency services.
Can other family members see where the tracker is?
Yes. The owner can give ongoing access to other OurSphere users with a Guest Access Code, or send a link that works for 1, 3 or 7 days with no account needed. Access can be removed at any time. Everyone in the same Sphere also receives Fall Detection and One-Click Alert notifications.
Does Indoor Elevation Finder tell me which floor someone is on?
No. It shows the relative vertical distance between the tracker and your phone, so you know whether to search above or below you. It does not report a floor number.
