Hybrid Location Technology
GPS, Wi-Fi and cell towers work together, and it switches between them by itself.
GPS pinpoints them under a clear sky.
3 to 5 m10 to 16 ft
Wi-Fi positioning takes over under a roof.
10 to 30 m33 to 98 ft
Cell towers step in when nothing else is around.
100 to 250 m328 to 820 ft
Typical ranges. Buildings and weather have opinions.
Safe zones
Set zones around the places that matter. OurSphere tells you when they arrive and when they leave.

Drag them around home, school or the park. Any shape the place needs.
Separate alerts for arriving and leaving, so you know which way they went.
Everyone you invite gets the same alert. Tap it to jump to them on the map.
Alerts follow the Tack's reporting schedule, so a faster mode alerts sooner. Screens shown for illustration.
Location history
Every location the Tack reports is saved in OurSphere, so you can replay the route it took.
Go back up to 14 days on the Standard plan, or 90 days on Premium.
Drag the time slider to see where they were, and when.
Check the time, battery and signal of each report.
The route is drawn from the Tack's location reports, so a faster tracking mode draws a more detailed line. Family members on a phone keep 72 hours. Screen shown for illustration.
One-click alert
The fastest way to ask for help.

Works on Tack GPS and Tack GPS Plus. Always call your local emergency number in a real emergency.
Tracking modes
Pick a mode in OurSphere and the Tack follows. Faster updates use more battery.

Intervals apply while the Tack is moving. When it is still, it checks in every 4 hours in Standard, 2 hours in Active and 15 minutes in Emergency (2 hours, 1 hour and 8 minutes on Premium), to save battery.

Battery and design
No screen. No nightly charging. Clips on, drops in, rides along.
Everything above, plus two extras for tall buildings and older family members.

Indoor Elevation Finder
Map pins stop at the lobby. This tells you up or down.
Fall Detection
Tack GPS Plus recognises a likely fall and alerts everyone in the Sphere, with where it happened.
Video and screens for illustration. Elevation Finder needs a phone with a built-in barometer. Fall Detection recognises likely falls and is not a medical device. Always call your local emergency number in a real emergency.
Which GPS tracker
Same battery, case and app. Coverage lives in the device, so choose once.

Customer reviews
I bought a tack so I can keep an eye on my Mom who lives in a different city than me. I love the geofence! It sends me an alert when she leaves her building … The tack has eased my mind.
Great, accurate GPS tracker without exorbitant monthly fee. Fits inconspicuously in child's backpack and offers peace of mind as a parent of a first-time bus rider.
I’ve been searching for a tracker to keep tabs on a friendly community cat … It’s small, has great battery life, and the subscription won’t break the bank.
100% recommended this tracker. It works as intended and accuracy is good. On top of that, I like that it has the elevation finder which makes search easier.

Specifications
Everything applies to both models unless a line says otherwise.
47 x 37 x 17 mm, or 1.8 x 1.4 x 0.65 inches.
30 g, about 1 ounce.
Tack GPS combines four radios so it can keep reporting as conditions change:
Figures are typical. Buildings, weather and network coverage all affect the result.
Unlimited. The tracker reports over the mobile network rather than to your phone directly, so there is no distance limit between the two.
750 mAh rechargeable cell, up to 30 days of use in Standard Mode. Charges over USB-C with the cable included.
Tack GPS roams in 30+ countries across Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan in Asia.
Tack GPS Plus extends that to over 120 countries, adding Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and more, with India available on request.
Coverage changes, so check the coverage page for the country you care about before you buy.
Three reporting modes, set from the app: Standard, Active and Emergency. How fast each one reports depends on your Tack Cloud plan rather than the device.
Power Saving Mode and Pet Mode are separate settings on the device, used to cut reporting further when the tracker is idle or worn by a pet.
Every location report is saved in OurSphere and can be replayed by day on the map, with a time slider.
How detailed the route is depends on the tracking mode: faster modes report more often.
Weather and dust proof, with an ultrasonically welded hard case.
Maximum operating temperature -10C to 50C. Recommended 0C to 40C. Extreme temperatures shorten battery life significantly.
OurSphere runs on iOS 15.0 or later and Android 8.0 Oreo or later.
Common questions
Tack GPS is a GPS tracker with a SIM card built in, made by Tack One in Singapore.
No, the SIM card is already inside. Tack GPS reports its own position over the mobile network, so there is nothing to buy, insert or activate. A Tack Cloud plan covers the data and the roaming, and every device arrives with 30 days of it included.
Yes. Unlike a Bluetooth tag, Tack GPS carries its own mobile connection, so it does not need a phone in range and does not borrow other people's phones. It sends its location straight to the OurSphere app from wherever it has coverage.
Yes, a Tack Cloud plan keeps the tracker connected. It starts at $3.89 SGD a month per device on the 3-year Standard plan, and covers the SIM, unlimited location updates and roaming data. 1 and 2-year plans are also available, plus a 3-month plan in the OurSphere app. The first 30 days come with the device.
An AirTag has no internet connection of its own, so it depends on other people's phones passing nearby, and it keeps no history. Tack GPS has a SIM card built in, so it reports from anywhere it has coverage, stores location history, and sends zone and emergency alerts.
Yes. Every location the tracker reports is saved in the OurSphere app, so you can pick a day and replay the route on the map. History goes back 14 days on the Standard Tack Cloud plan and 90 days on Premium. Family members sharing from a phone keep 72 hours.
Up to 30 days on one charge in Standard Mode, from a 750 mAh rechargeable cell. Faster reporting modes and extreme temperatures shorten that. It charges over USB-C with the cable included in the box.
Tack GPS roams in 30+ countries across Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia. Tack GPS Plus extends that to over 120 countries. Coverage changes, so check the coverage page for the country you care about before you buy.
Yes. Indoors the tracker switches from satellites to Wi-Fi positioning, typically accurate to 10 to 30 metres, and falls back to cell towers where neither is available. On Tack GPS Plus, Indoor Elevation Finder also tells you whether to search above or below you.
Tack GPS is weather and dust proof, in an ultrasonically welded hard case rated from -10C to 50C. It is built to stay on a collar or in a bag through everyday weather rather than to be submerged.
