Common questions
Does this include a tracker?
No. This is the subscription on its own. If you do not have a device yet, see the Tack GPS Tracker or the Tack GPS Plus Global, both of which include 30 days of Tack Cloud.
Should I choose Standard or Premium?
Standard suits trackers you check now and then, such as on a car, a bike or luggage, and it keeps 14 days of history. Premium updates more often in every mode, down to every minute in Emergency mode, and keeps 90 days of history, which suits closer day-to-day monitoring of a child or an older relative.
Can I switch from Standard to Premium later?
Yes. You can move from the Standard plan to the Premium plan if you need faster updates or longer history.
Do I need a SIM card or a mobile plan?
No. Tack trackers ship with a SIM already installed, and roaming data is included in the subscription.
What do the tracking modes do?
They set how often the tracker reports its location. Emergency mode reports most often and uses the most battery, Standard mode reports least often and lasts longest. The Premium plan shortens all three intervals.
Which countries does the subscription work in?
That depends on the tracker. The Tack GPS Tracker works in 30+ countries and the Tack GPS Plus Global works in 120+. The current list is on the coverage page.
How long is my location history kept?
14 days on the Standard plan and 90 days on the Premium plan.
Can I renew in the app instead?
